Parisa Costigan is an accomplished Senior Solicitor at Glanvilles Damant Limited. She brings over three decades of exceptional experience handling complex personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Parisa's prestigious career commenced with her qualification as a solicitor in September 1990 and spans across a number of Legal 100 Firms on the mainland before returning to the Island, where she spent her school years.

Parisa's accomplishments are numerous and include her membership as a Senior Litigator in the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the National Institute of Trial Advocates (NITA). Her work has not only brought justice to her clients but also shaped the national legal landscape.

Parisa won a landmark appeal case against a national house builder, setting a precedent regarding obligations towards contractors and employees working on building sites in relation to personal injuries at work. She also won an appeal in a complex clinical negligence claim against St Georges Hospital NHS Trust in London, a significant victory for a client who sustained serious injuries at birth.

Parisa handles all aspects of complex personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Her broad experience includes dealing with cerebral palsy claims, delays in diagnosis and treatment of conditions, negligently undertaken operations, and claims against doctors and hospitals spanning orthopaedic, gynaecology, plastic surgery, oncology, and psychiatry.

Away from her rigorous legal work, Parisa enjoys ballroom dancing, attending West End shows, dining out, and taking walks on the coastal path and the Downs with her young cockapoo dog, Pongo. She also contributes her time and energy to fundraising for numerous charities. Notably, she raised substantial funds for Cancer Research UK in 2015 by climbing the Great Wall of China and in 2022, climbed Mount Snowdon to raise funds for a spinal injury charity.
