Isle of Wight Radio's Ten Thousand Tins Campaign 2026
Glanvilles Damant are proud to be sponsoring Isle of Wight Radio’s Ten Thousand Tins Campaign this September!
The aim is simple: to collect 10,000 tins of food for the Isle of Wight Foodbank and help support local people facing difficult and uncertain times.
The Isle of Wight Foodbank is celebrating 15 years of supporting Islanders this year. Alongside providing essential food, their incredible team also offers a listening ear and much-needed support to those going through an uncertain and difficult time.
We’re proud to support such an important campaign and help bring our Island community together. As the Isle of Wight Foodbank says, “the campaign is an opportunity for the whole community to come together — because until foodbanks are no longer needed, no one should have to face a financial crisis without support”.
📅 The campaign runs until Sunday 4th October 2026
How you can help
• 🛒 Buy an extra tin when you do your supermarket shop.
• 📍 Drop your donation off at one of the campaign’s collection points across the Island.
• 🏢 Organise a collection at your workplace, school, community group or organisation.
• 📣 Spread the word and encourage your friends, family and colleagues to get involved.
