New Family Legal Executive Emma Lloyd Joins Team at Glanvilles Damant

  • Posted

We are excited to share that Emma Lloyd has joined Glanvilles Damant as a Family Legal Executive.

Having been qualified for the past 22 years, Emma comes to us with a wealth of experience in family law. With deep roots on the Isle of Wight, she will no doubt strengthen our dedication to supplying family law services to our island community, and beyond.

Her arrival represents an exciting step in Glanvilles Damant’s continued growth. With a team now 41 strong, we’re proud to showcase the firm’s ongoing ambition and forward momentum.

We’re eager to see the valuable impact Emma will bring as we continue to enhance and grow our family law offering.

How Will Emma Enhance our Family Law Services?

As a qualified Chartered Legal Executive since 2003, Emma has a deep understanding of the family law sector, which will ensure our clients benefit from trusted, effective and empathetic legal support.

Emma predominantly works with families in the local community, however, the power of technology also enables her to take on clients in other areas of the UK. Her expertise spans many areas of family law, including but not limited to prenuptial agreements, separation, divorce, financial settlements and child arrangements.

A key strength of Emma’s practice lies in her ability to demystify the complexities of family law matters with clarity and compassion, helping clients feel more informed and at ease.

Recognising that many clients face challenges across multiple areas of family law, Emma is adept at breaking down each element and providing a clear, cohesive overview. This enables her to work collaboratively with families to develop a practical and tailored plan moving forward.

Commenting on Emma’s recent move to the firm, Managing Partner, Raj Sangha, says, “We’re delighted to welcome Emma, whose skills and experience are a perfect fit for the firm. Despite only joining just over 2 weeks ago, she has already made a strong impression across Glanvilles Damant, taking a collaborative approach with members across the full scope of our team at our office headquarters. Her depth of knowledge has quickly earned the respect of colleagues, who are keen to engage with her and draw on her expertise.”

Strengthening Our Presence Through Continued Growth

Although our firm is based on a small island, it is both large in scale and firmly established. Several of our departments, such as the Wills and Probate team, are already well-resourced and thriving.

Building on this foundation, Emma is committed to contributing to the firm’s continued growth by developing the Family Law department and expanding its client base. This may involve mentoring in-house trainees or recruiting new talent externally to strengthen the team further.

Reflecting on her appointment, Emma has said, “Having worked previously at the firm, back when it was just Glanvilles, I am delighted to be joining Glanvilles Damant in a real full-circle moment for me.

“I see Glanvilles Damant as a long-standing fixture on the Isle of Wight; an approachable and accessible firm known for its broad range of legal services. This new role is particularly exciting for me, as it offers up an opportunity to anchor myself as the go-to family law expert at the firm, whilst contributing to the continued growth of the family law team.

“I’m looking forward to working in a larger office, interacting and collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to provide clients with comprehensive, multi-disciplinary legal support where needed.”
